ID Cards

These are supplied upon successful renewal of your listing on the National Register. The ID card is proof of your listing on the National Register and must be shown when first arriving at your assignment.

The information provided on your ID card will show the following:

  1. Photograph
  2. Name and Registration number
  3. Languages which you are registered for (interpreters must not imply that they are registered for any related or additional languages)
  4. Expiry date.

Please note: for security reasons the ID card shows the interpreters name on the reverse. Both ID cards shown opposite are valid but the old design card is being phased out and will not be acceptable as proof of current registration with the NRPSI after April 2009.

Each year upon successful renewal of your registration you will be provided with an updated ID card.
