Applications take approximately 4 weeks to process but may take
longer if:
1. the application form is incomplete
2. additional material is needed
All applications which meet the criteria are considered by the
Selection Panel, which meets on a monthly basis.
An interpreter's application is valid for one year from the month
they are accepted onto the Register. Each interpreter must renew
their listing annually.
Fees:
The current application fee for 1 language is £198.00 (including VAT). If your application is rejected you will receive a refund of £148.00 (we will keep £50.00 as an administration fee). If you decide to leave the register once you have been accepted then fees are non-refundable.
Interpreters applying for more than one language will need to pay
an additional £34.00 for each additional language.
Please make cheques payable to NRPSI Ltd. Alternatively you can
pay by Credit/Debit card by completing this
Card Payments form and returning it to the office (please note
that a 2% admin fee is charged on all card payments).
