Security Clearance

All applicants must obtain security clearance. Please note that this is a subscriber requirement.

The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) has been set up to supply the new Security Clearance letters known as CRB Disclosure notices.

The National Register must be provided with one of the following documents in order for your application to be complete:

an up-to-date CRB Standard or Enhanced Disclosure notice OR
a valid Metropolitan Police Full Counter Terrorist Check for Unacceptable Criminal Convictions.

The National Register will not request another Disclosure notice unless an interpreter or language group has given us cause for concern or a subscriber requests it.
